Fox has requested Incubot take down their Kickstarter, even after receiving considerable support to produce a diecast metal replica of the Serenity from the Short lived Sci-Fi series Firefly, and now they need our help. And we are giving it to them.

BUY THE SERENITY NOWIncubot is well known for it’s creativity and industrial design for toys. And it seems horrifically unprofessional, not to mention unfair, that mid-funding and post launch, that an already granted entertainment license is being used to force a small design houses hand. We advocate for fair representation of toy design, and Incubot deserves to be treated more fairly, after making such an investment with the Firefly Entertainment Brand and Community.
Incubot, founded by Alen Yen, long time Japanese toy collector, toy scholar and designer, has made major contributions in both community and product development. Continuing hallmarks of Japanese toy design and engineering and quality in all of his releases. Incubot has a considerable portfolio, containing several releases of USB flash drives, to major success that are also functional toy designs.
By far and large, my favorite is the Tetsujin, released as “Gigantor”, also due to some licensing non-sense. I’ll save that for later.
There are already working prototypes, tons of progress videos, the product and packaging appears to be done. It’s just a question of raising production funds. So please help out Alen, the Firely community, and own a great piece of multi-functional toy design from Incubot.
